Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Director of Sustainability and Environmental Management. The Assistant Director will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders including staff, faculty, students, and leadership in furthering the campus sustainability agenda and goals while continually assessing alignment with campus goals, cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, and potential acceptance by the Vanderbilt community. The goal of this program is to create sustainable environmental stewardship by ensuring compliance obligations are met while minimizing the university’s environmental impact and maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of campus sustainability initiatives.
