There is an opportunity at Verizon for a Project Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility. The role is based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The Project Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility will be responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and management of education initiatives that include next generation technologies that engage and positively impact under-resourced and underrepresented youth across the United States. Specifically, the project manager will report to a program manager and will support the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program, partnering with non-profit organizations and public and charter middle schools to launch a personalized technology solution and teacher professional development to increase student academic achievement and problem solving skills. He/she must have a strong understanding of next generation technology use in education, design thinking process, human-centered design, and be fluent in the latest technology trends. The project manager will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, be an innovative problem solver, self-starter and strong collaborator who excels in a fast paced environment. The project manager should be able to travel at least 25% of the time.
